Birthday Parties

An innovative and fun birthday party for children of ages 6 to 17 where your child and their friends will measure, mix, bake, decorate and enjoy themselves!

Each party is tailored specifically for your child and their friends.

• We will work together to choose a theme, a date and time, and the content for the class.
• A popular theme is cupcakes, but we also offer pizza, tea party, chocolate and cookie decorating themes.
• Groups can be as small as 4 or up to 10; price depends on length and content of class.
• Students will have time to sample their creations and also to bring home their extra treats packed up in bakery boxes. They will also bring home a copy of the recipes.

Deirdre Parker, owner of Just Desserts, is licensed to provide instructional classes in her home and is a certified food handler. She has been teaching baking classes for 6 years privately and previously for the Fairfax and Arlington County Public Schools.   She is the mother of two young adults s and welcomes a parent(s) of the birthday child to stay for the class if desired.
